I give my heart to God

as I close my eyes and offer it

tears fall on my face

and my hands shaking

i raised up my arms

heart in hand and prayed for healing

I still sin Oh Lord

I still feel weak

I still fail You who does not fail me

Your wisdom I neglected

Your teachings I forgot

but still You call me son

and send the Holy Spirit

to cleanse me and fill me

You make me feel worthy

even though I have mistaken

You sing songs to calm me

like a child crying because of darkness

the fear in my heart erased

the trouble in my mind put to rest

You gladly give peace

to this tired and aching body

yes I still fail You

You who does not fail me

You make me feel worthy

by giving me Your love

with Your love in my heart

I find sustenance

Your forgiveness is a well

filled with unending water

quenching me to give me strength

my guilt is like paper to You

crumpling it and throwing it away

as you give me a new page

to write my life

You end my hunger

by letting me feel Your presence

ending my sadness

and making me feel whole again

the days are different

but if there is something that remains

it is my love for God

and I know His love for me will never change

so I may live day by day

seeing different faces

walking different roads

hear different voices

and even talking in different languages

but I will make sure that

I see the face of God

I walk the path towards God

I hear the His voice that gives wisdom

and speak of love that is God

these are only a few by which

each day should be lived

it will make everyday a better one

I just imagine a day with God

spending time with Him over a cup of coffee

the conversations are endless

and I would be uplifted every single time

isn’t it a nice thought?

God changes things

from big to small

wide to narrow

nothing is impossible

tomorrow will bring something new

but I will make sure

that the way I think speak feel and hear

about God never changes

because His love for me

never will

Come forward and meet The Lord

For He is first and everything is secondary

lay to rest your worries your troubles and dismay

for He is greater than all of them

Come forward and meet the Lord

for He desires to meet you

He desires to love you for you

because His creation is very dear

Come forward with your heart wide open

for He will cleanse it with the Holy Spirit

may your pain be washed away in seconds

and may happiness stay with you for always

Come forward and speak to the Lord

for He desires to listen to you

sing to Him your heart’s desire

and He will sing to You His wisdom

Come forward and worship the Father

for it is only right to do so

He is our generous King

our skilled protector

and His glory shall be met

and will be His forever

Come forward to the light of the Lord

let the light shine on You

so that You will have renewed spirit

and that you may only know of His light

which will never die

Come Forward for He forgives

He does not want you to go astray

He has ways of drawing you close

so let go of everything and leave it to Him

He is greatness epitome

Come forward and meet our God

Seek Him first

for He seeks you

I do not want to lose sight of You

when sin blinds me in the darkness

please share Your light so I may know my way

I desire to be in that place of light

that place where I hear choruses sung everyday

where there is no night and darkness

a place of solace and holy worship

the place of the King

the Father and His Son

watching happily on the throne

how I long to be there

Heaven’s light is so promising

I desire to be with My God

because His truth and power

is endless

I may not be worthy at times

but grant me mercy Oh Lord

I want to pursue Your love God

it is every bit of happiness

that I try to find here on earth

make my heart grow as it beats for You

let it be known that You have changed me

I do not want to lose sight of You

I do not want to fail You

my humanity is a gift I know

now I try to live it to the fullest

For You God and You Jesus

You make me breath good air

living in love and greatness

where no darkness shall touch me again

and no darkness is mentioned

Heaven is a long journey, yes

but it is a journey for which I am bound
